I already had a pair of Sony Bluetooth exercise headphones but I was unhappy with the quality of the sound, so I started looking around for an alternative product. After seeing these AOSO M16 Bluetooth sport headphones I decided to take a gamble as they seemed to be the right price and offered what specifications I needed. And boy I was glad I did, please read more for the full review with pictures. (if you don’t like reading a wall of text, to summarise, these are great sounding and very comfortable)
As with most things the 1st impressions are important and I was pleased with the packaging, it was both packaged well and just the right size for the items inside. Made from environmentally friendly materials, but it did not detract from the look and feel of a high-end quality item. Upon opening the box, I found a black carry case (headphones inside), instructions, support card, USB charging cable and different sized earbuds.
I was happy with the carry case, it was quite hard and robust, made from quality materials and strong zipper. I suspect this will offer very good long term protection for the earphones. It also has a small pocket inside the carry case, great for storing the earbuds and USB cable.
I did not bother to charge the headphones before use, and once I got them connected to my (Android) phone the real testing began. We all know you buy headphones for sound quality, and I was extremely impressed with the clarity of these with clear lyrics with great high and lows.
The best innovation with these would have to be the stiff, bendable cable near the earphones, it gives you the chance to mould the cable to perfectly fit your ears, so no more off the shelf uncomfortable ear hooks! Even after hours they felt fantastic with no slippage or movement, yet still perfectly comfortable. Genius!
They can be paired to two devices at once, but I never tested this functionality.
Not much to else to say about the USB <> Mini USB charging cable, extra ear buds or instructions, other than the minimal instructions could be a little better.
